Yep excellent find Les some awesome shots there.

I've been on the wrong end of an A-10 in a battlefield exercise and can tell you their noise and presence alone is enough to make you keel over!! Was wary of them in the Gulf though

did you know that if it could carry enough ammo, if the a-10 kept on firing it's gun it would eventually go backwards because of its power?? and that Spectre gunship is an awesome machine. we had it giving overhead cover in the city. it killed over 100 enemy in one night. awesome thing!

Some superb photos there. At my caravan in Wales I get to see loads of Hawks, Hercules and Tornados. Also see some F15s and a couple of A10s now and then.

Speaking of A10s, the shot of one passing a car parked at a Stop sign reminded me of the time many years ago when I was part of a line of cars leaving the International Air Tattoo. We were slowly making our way along an apron and were stopped by staff whilst an A10 taxied past us. Scared the heck out of us! Nice to see one close up though.
