Loud Radio Noise

Hi All

Within the last week the radio in my Yaris T-Sport has started making a loud noise when I change the channel ? It eventually stops and the radio plays the correct station e.g. Radio 1.

This noise continues even after the engine is switched of !!! But it eventually stops thank goodness.

Anyone hav an idea what this could be ?
