Got My Replacement

Just though i'd let you all know that I picked up my replacement yaris last night.

car's still standard for now, untill I finish work later to fit my mods.

Driving home from the dealers the car was completely different, the car handled better in the corners, not as much body roll as there was in the previous one, it was quieter and not so bumpy.

No rattles from the dash yet. Smoother accelleration, smoother gearchanges, and the engine didn't sound as rough, which makes me think the previous one was thrashed.

Aircon still clicks but not as often and it doesn't cause the car to jump. The car pulls over to the left gradually and not so violently as before.

One thing I won't be doing on this car is colour coding the bumpers, after having them done before and seeing the car with the black inserts, I think it looks much better.

Got to say i'm even more impressed with the yaris now.

Didn't see the point in posting pictures as everyone knows what the yaris looks like.

Really pleased you got it sorted out mate - felt rotten for you with the probs you were having with the last one.

Now you can concentrate on enjoying the car and get it modded to the way you want it.

I liked the colour coded front, but its your car so have it the way you want it.

The T Sport has colour coded bumpers as standard, or do you have another model Yaris?

I think he means the black bumper at the front and rear.... on the T-Sport.... under the front fogs.... you know what I mean!

Nice one mate - glad its all worked out for you

I thought he meant the inserts on the corners. Now I know what you mean, the part of the bumper which has the fogs (front or rear) attached.

Leave them be mate, they look good as they are
