There is a SR for sale on eBay atm that has a HKS induction kit on. If you search Yaris SR on eBay im sure it will come up soon. It's a red SR W red with black alloys. But yeah i think personally it is a worse location than a Apexi as forced further back in the engine bay and with the mushroom type filter it means all its air will be sucked from directly the back of the engine away from all natural air flow and right next to the hottest exhaust manifold! Add in it has a much worse filtration in comparison to the Apexi and it just isn't a contender!

being universal it may not have the air flow sensor housing so you won't be able to fit the kit and you cannot bypass the sensor, remove or leave it hanging out.

And being foam the filtration is rubbish, save your money and get a better filter

Ive used both the apexi and HKS on my T sport, apexi everytime for me, the hks was terrible, and it was even relocated right to the front behind the light. Struggled on acceleration, had serious power flat spots with it.

cheers lads. think ill just save and get a yaris specific one. do you get all the pipework with the apexi? or what other one would you reccomend that doesnt need lots of work to fix it such as moving the Battery. i was worried about that air flow meter thing not fitting coz i didnt want the dashboard full of flashing lights like the old punto i had. :D

most kits for the t-sport are stupid to fit, so it doesn't matter what you get,

why don't you try the envy induction kit from www.envyperformance.com

the envy does seem a wise choice, relocates it down towards the front grill for optimised cold air, looks the part as well, which is always good :)
