Heating them with a blowtorch can sometimes work..................(although be extreemly careful not to set fire to the car!!)

Yeap some combination of heating, soaking with penetrating oil (NOT WD40 but Plusgas or similar) for hours and attacking with an impact driver normally works.

Failing that go at it with the biggest breaker bar you can find and then either drill out or extract the remains when you shear all the bolt heads off :)

I must admit, for someone that is proud to do everything on their own car, I usaully go to the local exhaust shop for exhaust work... they do nost jobs "for a drink" which is less then it would cast me a for a tube of firegum or whatever you want to use to seal it... plus is easier then rolling around on the floor being hit on the head by falling bits of pipe and swearing lots

Not much help I know....

WD-40 and a breaker bar usually does the job for me...
