Sound like you have a brake inbalance, possibly caused by a sticking caliper, or you could just simply be needing new brake pads.

Take it along to your local MOT station where they should be only too happy to put your car on the brake tester and do a free brake check for you... but don't go to Sh*t-F*t as IMO they might tell you that you need this that and the next thing.. your local garage would be the best option.

On a side note, where about in Scotland are you from? please take a look in the Scottish meets section and let us (other Scottish members) know your thoughts on the local TOC meets situation.

Have you checked that your front tyre pressures are equal and correct?...............It can cause this problem

Guys thanks for helping me out, I tested the tyre pressures but they were the same, I got someone to jack up each side of the car and the left hand wheel and brake pads were binding. I got the calipers freed and lubricated (I think that is what was done), so all fine now, thanks very much

I travel in between Scotland and Cumbria so glad everything is back to normal, thanks

Glad to hear you're happy, don't forget us if you have any more problems (or if you just fancy a bit of car related banter)
