Lowering Springs

Hi!

I wanted to lower my TS as some of you might have read in other posts. I finally decided to go with TTE springs, because I got a fairly good deal on them from Toyota and they actually fitted them for me and so I will not have any problems with warranty or anything.

The front of the car has become lower, I actually dont know by how much, but close to 30mm. On the other hand though, the rear has not dropped as much. Do the springs still need some time to actually settle, how long before the car reaches the 30mm drop? Do I need to drive the car more or for longer trips or will the springs settle over time, or is what I see now the final lowering of the car?

Thanks!

You won't notice the rear as much with only a 30mm drop needs to be on teins or 40mm springs to really notice a difference.

few days for settling, but you won't notice the 1 or 2mm they may settle by. Being a good quality spring they won't sag over time. Quite a few people mistake the sagging for settling.

Got ya... Well I'll wait for a few days and see what happens. Anyways the handling is very good, the ride is not harsh at all, quite similar to the original springs.

Everyone is going low lol :P

With the teins i put on the back didnt seem "loads" lower but since it lowers back 38mm and front 33m it settles the car out which is very noticeable!

Do you guys think that the springs will settle a bit more after a short period of time as well as after more driving? Unfortunately, I didnt do any measurements of the car before and after the springs, but the front is noticeable right away, the rear Im not sure about, but it doesnt look as if it dropped a full 30mm yet...
