hi i know someone who wants to have my standard cd player from my yaris in his yaris which only has the tape player. now i have a new headunit on order so if i swap will this then solve the problem of having to keep my old cd slot?so all i would need is to go buy a rav 4 din adaptor and a iso adapter?and will the standard cd player just plug in to the yaris which has a tape player as standard???

You will have to buy rav 4 din adaptor and another plastic facia which i dont no what its called ryan1985 did it recently! and yes you will need an ISO.

The standard cd will go stright into were the tape player is in his car!

if the cd player is going in a lower model yaris you may have a slight difference between the connectors on the !Removed! lighter.

I did between my 1.3 and t-sport.

Last sunday i took the stock CD player from my SR and put into the Gf's lower spec yaris with a tape player and was a straight swap with no problems re: !Removed! lighter! Maybe difference between Tsport and other models? Either way easy to bodge or just leave them without a !Removed! lighter if it's a problem!

Yeah you will need a new fascia surround aswell as the Double DIN RAV4 piece and the ISO connector adapter aswell! Easy as pie though and dead clear if you read the guides! Fitting the Cd player in the tape player yaris will take bout 20mins!

thanks for the help people. i have already brought a iso adaptor and the rav 4 double din but what i was think was the surround in the lower spec would be the part i need to put in my t sport???or do i still need to order it from toyota???if so i will tomorrow, mines a p1 so will head up with the code on the page before.

Ya still need the surround makes no difference what spec yaris you got mate its a completely different surround!

well ordered the part today and its called a safety pad instrument????lol hopefully its the right bit. cost 38.70 for it. update soon
