Corolla Alternator Wiring

Ive got a Corolla alternator fitted to my Mini and need to know how the wiring connects up. Can anyone help? There are three wires coming from the plug, thick yellow, thick white and a thinner black? one, there's also a separate connection underneath. Its from a G reg 12V car.

The original Mini wiring has three wires too so it should hopefully be straightforward.

white perm live

i think yellow is feed live....(switched)

black earth

yellow=bat warning light

white=battery(also the 8mm stud on side but need to be thick cable)

black and yellow=ingnition sw
