Getting Power Steering Fitted On Yaris?

Hi Guyz,

Glad to join the Toyota Owners Club forum. I have a T Reg 1999 1.0 Litre Yaris S. Great car apart from the fact it doesn't have power steering.

Is it worth it to get power steering fitted into it? I know they say that the engine on these cars is light but boy this is not the cased I'm telling you!!!! How much is the likely cost of fitting power steering onto a Yaris.

it might be cheaper to look at another model of yaris to be honest...

Try and drive a Peugeot 205.... and you will be glad with the Yaris you have now!

Anyway, like what everyone said, it's probably more worth while getting another model of Yaris with power steering to start with.

I think power steering model starts from GLS, right? Or GS?

Must have been the GS because I don't remember having any difficulties with the steering on my old 1.0 GS

Power steering was a factory option on the S (mine had it) and was standard from the GS upwards.
