Dash Colour

What do you use to change the colour of the dash? I am assuming that you would probably use a spray can (?) But would it get scratched etc??

The reason for the question is that I have seen the guy's dash who is gonna put a pc in his car. His dash is in silver, which looks prety cool. (Dont worry, I aint gonna put a pc in me car, just like the idea of possibly changing the colour of the dash . . .)

Any ideas gratefully recieved.

I think that you mean Kerby (Chris) from Manchester.........He was at the MK meet and would probably be the best person to answer your questions.

Send him a PM.............I am sure he will be willing to advise.

The trick of repainting a dash is all in the preparation.

hi tis me :D red is right here, you really do need to take your time in prepping the surface of the dash. i sanded it down to get rid of the texture which comes as standard on the dash. then just used basic sprayins knowledge, couple of layers of primer rubbing down with wire wool after each coat, then a couple of layers of paint then about 4-5 layers of laqour. as of yet i haven scratched it
