Replacement Aerial For 2004 Yaris

Some ubikbag stole my aerial last week and the dealer wants £27.41 for a replacement. I've looked on eBay and found a couple that are fairly discrete looking which is what I want. I've heard a couple of gripes on the forum about aftermarket aerials rusting on or not fitting properly, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a particular one or warn me off others. I definitely want a black one and it has to fit flush on the original mount.

The ones I saw on eBay were:

Has anyone bought one of these before?

The aerial on the face lifted Yaris is 16 inches long, as long as the screw mount ius compatible I don’t see a problem.

You could always try scrap yards, i have seen quite afew yaris aerials they are selling for a couple of quid.

At least that way you know they will fit flush.

The second one you posted there is an autoleads one, i have an autoleads one but it doesnt look like that it looks like the first one you posted. Although it isnt possible to tell the make of the first one you posted from the listing cos the box aint shown.

If you want to actually pick up radio signals dont get a short bee sting arial, they cant pick up fck all. The second one you posted there would be the best bet out of those 3 for performance but not for looks if you like short aerials.

Also, when i put mine on i put some copper grease on the threads of the wee screw to prevent rust, aint had it on that long though and aint tried to remove it so cant comment on problems with that.
