This is weird with Toyota just releasing a 1.8 SR in the UK. The ones I saw at my Mr T were in a very similar grey too!

I'm just wondering what will make the T Sport so different to the SR?

(and yes, I did read the spec and it looks very much the same with perhaps the exception of the analogue dials).

Oh and I don't like the rims either, sorry.

Ah well, it's back to Mr T for them to spend ages telling me the differences (subtle or otherwise) once it appears here.

Question is... is it any faster? :P

Our SR is Europe's T-Sport, both models are exactly the same.

Well if that's the case, way to go, Toyota, for missing a great opportunity to continue to build on an established and respected brand name.

Don't get me wrong, SR owners but the T-Sport name is naturally associated with the flagship Yaris.

yup indeed MR T have screwed up again and possibly killed a great car.

think we should petition toyota to make a uk spec t-sport that could actually rival othe hot hatches and not just be another warm hatch.

its a shame to put a 1.8 in a yaris and not even give it the power it can and should produce!

I must be psychic! Toyota UK now have the SR on their site, coined as their "flagship model".

Maybe they'll use the same engine but the TS will be tuned to 190BHP -ish with different suspension etc

It makes sence to have a sport look a like ie the SR and then an actual performance (if you can call it that?) model
