Get Low!

I'm not sure, maybe about 50mm!

How about the bump stops or dust cover, do they need to be cut, if yes then where? I read somewhere that they need to be cut with the Basic coiley's, is this true or do I just install this whole kit as I receive it?

How do I know, how much to lower the car by? I mean how do you count threads, and on the adjustment base where the spring seat locks are, how do I know how much I lower the car by (lets say how do I lower the car by just 40mm or by 60mm), what needs to be measured? Also, the car is lower when the spring seat locks are all the way down or all the way up on the adjustment base on the fronts and rears as well?

when you get the coilovers it will tell you where to measure to set the height.

Nothing needs to be cut, it's a decent coilover kit not a bodged job.

Looks good by the way ryan

Nice car!

BTW, do you know you could get the passenger door dent poped out by a "paintless dent removal" specialist? I had a dent poped out a while back and it only costed me about 40 quid.

I thought I might have been able to mate but I've really just not had the time to look into it. It's on my list of things to do though!

I should point out that Ryan's car is actually "quite low" - about the same as mine now I've raised it a bit...

Being low is over hyped. I had some terrible noises going over a couple of speed bumps the other day! It really can't be good for the underside of the car! :(

Have you guys had any problems with scraping parts or sections of the exhaust system like sports cat, midsection or backbox?

It hits metal just behind the front wheels as that part of the car is the lowest point of the car even with a full exhaust system on.

Bigger tyres will also raise the car up a wee bit so you should't have any problems ToTo.

Thanks! I plan on using 185/55 sized tires on 15' rims, hopefully after a while I can also slam it a bit without problems.
