I went to A&E when i hurt my finger and my big toe playing footy. They said to me it wont be treated any differently if it was broken or not. Think they just tied my finger to the other one. Damaged tendons I believe because it was a bit stiff and sore in the winter months for about 2-3 years after that.

Go to A&E at 3 in the morning, it'll be quiet then!

Negetive! I spent about 5 hours in basildon hospital 2am to 7am on friday with horrid chest pains which started at 9pm thursday. I couldn't breath properly. Luckily I'm still alive ( ) and it was just inflamation of the lining of my lungs.

Anyway, I still waited for hours and hours in the early hours of the morning lol.

When my shoulder came out of its socket I went to AandE at 3pm and only had to wait 20 mins... so that must be the best time to go!

My finger is still swollen and sore. lol.

I can't straighten the end of it either unless I push it straight with my other hand. I think it's gonna be stuck like that forever now! DOH!

Yep, sounds broke to me, the bruising on my finger is completely gone & it is pretty much back to the same size that it used to be & only hurts when I touch/stretch it so if you still can't straighten it it does sound like a visit to the doctors is needed

I can straighten it... just not the tip (the last knuckle), It's bent as far as it can go, and I can't straighter it out unless I push it.

Still need to goto the docs?? Seriously... I can't be bothered. lol.

Guess what! ... my finger is broken! lmao.

Well I've got a splint just now, but the guy at A&E wasn't too sure what to do. He took some pictures on his mobile etc and is gonna discuss it with his collegues in the morning and give me a call. lol

DOH! Maybe I should have went when it happened??
