not been on in a fair while but maybe someone here can help

im after putting a custom digital dash in my gen 7 celica showcar

i know a fair few toyotas over the yrs up to today have had them as standard

i always liked the one in my old astra mk2 gte so thought id have a look and see if a custom one could be made

the problem is the wiring

any wiring techys out there that know wether it would be possible ?

is it an easy job ?

will a toyota digital dash from an older car be better

or is it possible to make one from another car make and be possible to wire up

heres a chop ive had done to get a rough idea using the astra gte components

i dont want to buy all the parts and make the unit up to find its impossible to wire up

Dont know if this will help at all Phil, but my old Mkii Supra had the one in thats featured in my sig.

i had one or two problems with it when i first got the car and it was that complecated there were only a couple Techies in the country that were able to offer the solution to fixing the problem, so honest oppion is that its a tricky road to go down, but asume that the easiest of the two ways would be to use an old toyota part as apposed to a custom fit.

sorry cant be any more help mate

Use old toyota one, i am currently changing my SR digital dash for a TTE/ T sport normal one, wiring is quite straight forward but that may be down to they are from same car!
