evening all,

i picked up my new(ish) 07 plate ex demo motor today and i'm well impressed. its a nice upgrade from a 1.2 corsa. does anyone know how to open the sunglasses holder near the interior lights cos i'm stumped. is it on all models or im i just being a bit thick?

First of all my congratulations on your new car. I must say I know the feeling :D I had a SAXO before eheheheheh.

About the sunglasses compartment be careful because i read here that in england some Auris come with alarm by factory and they put the turn off buttons of the volumetric sensors right there. This means you won't have the compartment. Just check if you have any button there. If not its very simple simply push it up and the lead should open. I'm surprised the dealer didn't showed you that. I spent 30 minutes listening to every single gadget explanation from the seller.

thanks for that, just had a quick look and i've got a button up there and no matter how much you press the surround it doesn't open, so i assume as you said thats for turning the alarm off and i wont have one. not to worry, i'd sooner have an alarm than a little box. :)
