Cigarette Burns

hey everyone

i went out last night and everyone decided they wanted to go up town, o everyone piled into my tiny litte yaris, i told the guy in the passenger seat he could smoke, if he was careful, but no one in the back was allowed too.

but some stupid B**CH completely ignored me and smoked, i was unaware as i was driving along

all of a sudden i see and orange flash shoot across me, but i thought it was just ash and told the guy in the passenger seat to e careful, then my back started burning, while i was doing 40mph in the pouring rain and there was a cigarette but wedged between my back and the seat. the B**CH in the back had tried to throw her !Removed! out the passenger window, and somhow managed to bounder it off my window (?!?) and down my back. but she decided not to tell me at all, even when i shouted "F**K somethings burning my back!" and then afterwards, tried to deny smoking in the back at all!

not only did it burn a hole in my nice new shirt :censor:

but its put a nice hole in my yaris seat, smack bang in the middle of the back support :censor: :censor: :censor: :censor:

is there anyway to get rid of them?, or make them less visible? or am i going to have to get it re-fabricated or get a new seat all together?

never will anyone smoke in this car or my future cars :censor:

Bad luck. At the least I would expect a new shirt from your passenger.

There are many mobile companies that repair cigarette burns.

Same thing happened to me on Friday! I never let people smoke in my car but on this occasion, I said to my mate you can have one as long as all the ash, smoke, etc goes out the window! Got in the back yesterday to strap littlen in and low and behold theres a f**king !Removed! butt melted into the plastic rear panel! Looks like he's tried to throw it out of the window and it's blown back in! I'm gunna get him on the back seat Monday morning and rub his little face in it!!! see if he likes that eh!!

If I smoked, which I don’t, but if I did the last thing I would do is smoke in someone’s car which they have paid £1000’s for.

Would they smoke on your new leather sofa that cost a grand+? It seems it’s acceptable to smoke in someone else’s car that cost 10 times that amount.

I think it’s the mentality that smokers have, selfish!

If I added up the amount of time employees go for a ‘!Removed! Break’ (paid time) in addition to their official breaks it would come to a small fortune, yet the non smokers have to carry on working and at times do the job of the smokers while they are outside (with friends) puffing away.

Anyone got a light?

Personally, I think that the people who did the things in this thread, and the people who you TVOR formed these opinions from are just tosspots, or perhaps your just a very judgemental individual who knows?

Maybe if the specific perps in this thread care this much about your property then perhaps it says something about your choices of friends.

Youll come accross all diferent manners of people in all walks of life and i dare say that some of them wont smoke and will be selfish.... perhaps like the people saying screw the smokers we want our air clean of their smoke (when they know full well that the airs polluted anyway).

some of us are quite considerate u know so thanks for the sweeping generalisation!

He asked them not to smoke, they did and now he has damaged his car and his new clothing.

Also the person decided to cover their tracks and not say anything and even try and deny any knowledge.

He was driving at night in adverse conditions at 40mph with a burning cigarette down his back, all a recipe for an incident.

So on the information given on this thread I make no apologies for being judgmental condemnatory and disparaging and agree that his ‘friends’ are tosspots ;)

I smoke,

I smoke too much,

BUT, I never smoke indoors ( even though it's my house ), I never smoke in cars, even if other people are, and nobody smokes in my cars.

If that makes me selfish then I can live with that .

people in the back seat smoking trying to flick it out of the front or the back window never work i have noticed!!! dont matter if its a 3 or 5 door car it just dosent work! so many times have a found ash and ciggaret butts in the parcel shelf, which is why i and a lot of my mates banned people from 'flicking' from the back seats, they are allowed to smoke but on one condition - use the protable ash tray!!! works all the time
