hi ppl any no some body thats put a celica gt4 motor in a starlet? am just lookin for a little information before buy a gt4 motor and starlet need to no if the engine mounts bolt straight up or have to get some mounts made up so if any 1 got a gt4 or starlet pics of the engine bay wud be helpful :thumbsup:

why oh why would you even want too.

buy an "carlos sainz" gt4 and drive it like a starlet...

If your meaning the 3SGTE - no it doesn't bolt in - new mounts & wiring loom & god knows what else.

it HAS been done before though

hop accross to toyota gt turbo dot com those guys will geable to tell you more.

its been done once, its a pain of a job and pointless to be honest!

You have to remember that this is a front wheel drive car with very little weight so putting down power will always be an issue. the best thing that you can do would be to either forge your own engine and throw cash at that, make a 1.5 turbo hybrid for it or sell it andbuy a silly fast car
