Safety Warning

*** PLEASE STAY ALERT INFORM Family and Friends ***

A woman stopped at a pay-at-the-pump petrol station to get

fuel. Once she filled her petrol tank and after paying at the

pump and starting to leave, the voice of the attendant inside

came over the speaker. He told her that something happened with

her card and that she needed to come inside to pay.

The lady was confused because the transaction showed complete and

approved. She relayed that to him and was getting ready to leave

but the attendant, once again, urged her to come in to pay or

there'd be trouble. She proceeded to go inside and started

arguing with the attendant about his threat.

He told her to calm down and listen carefully: He said that while

she was filling her car, a guy slipped into the back seat of her car

on the other side and the attendant had already called the police.

She became frightened and looked out in time to see her car door open

and the guy slip out.

The report is that the new gang initiation thing is to bring back

a woman and/or her car. One way they are doing this is crawling

under girls /women's cars while they're filling with petrol or at

stores in at night-time.

The other way is slipping into unattended cars and kidnapping the

women.

Please pass this on to other women, young and old alike. Be extra

careful going to and from your car at night. If at all possible,

don't go alone! This is real!!

This alert has originated from a London company who had the woman

involved in the above instance.

The message:

1. ALWAYS lock your car doors, even if you're gone for just a

second!

2. Check underneath your car when approaching it for re-entry,

and check in the back before getting in.

3. Always be aware of your surroundings and of other individuals

in your general vicinity, particularly at night!

Send this to everyone so your friends can take precaution.

Eek! I heard another one that a woman got back to her car in a Nottingham shopping centre car park and found a tyre flat and a bloke dressed in a business suit offering to help, after which he asks for a ride to his car on the other side of the car park so he's not late for a meeting, he'd already put his briefcase in her car so she became suspicious and told him she had to go get something. She came back with a security guard and he was gone, the police were called and opened the case to find a rope and a knife in it.

Its sick world out there people!

scary stuff, women can't trust anyone these days it's just too dangerous..

i'm always wondering cos i've got a little sister as well as my girlfriend whos at uni right now.

Where I was at uni for a couple of weeks the gangsters favourite stunt there is to offer a girl drugs in a bar/club... so when she thinks its a gesture or something like that she takes the offer with a smile.

Then the gangsters tell her that she owes them 1000 quid, and to get out on the street and earn it.

it's just not right, really don't know what's goin' through the minds of these people.

A bit too close to the popular "Urban Legend" emailed throughout the world:

As told by Barb Thaine...

A young woman was leaving a local shopping mall only to find that she had a flat tire. A well-dressed young man carrying a briefcase came up to her and asked if she needed help changing her tire. She told him she would call AAA but when she did she was told it would be over an hour before a truck would be dispatched to her site. The gentleman urged her to let him fix her flat and she finally allowed him to do so.

When he was finished, he asked if she would give him a ride to the other side of the mall, as his car was parked there. Looking at her watch, she realized how late it was and apologized to the young man saying that she needed to get home as it was her daughter's birthday and her husband was at home with the two children awaiting her arrival. The man went on his way.

When she returned home, she told her husband what had happened at the mall and about the man who came to her aid. The husband went out to look at the tire and saw that the man had inadvertently left his briefcase in the trunk of the vehicle. The husband brought it into the livingroom and he and his wife opened it to see if they could find the man's name and phone number.

Upon opening the briefcase, they found only five items: a rag, chloroform, duct tape, a body bag and an icepick (which was probably used to cause the flat tire).

As told by Ann MacDonald...

One summer day in Southampton, New York, a woman pulled into a gas station. As the attendant pumped gas, the woman told him she was in a hurry to pick up her daughter, who had just finished an art class in East Hampton.

A very well-dressed man walked over to her car and started talking to her. He explained that his rental car had died, and he needed a ride to East Hampton for an appointment. She said she would be happy to give him a ride. He put his briefcase in the backseat and said he was going to the men's room quickly.

The woman looked at her watch and suddenly panicked. She drove off quickly, having forgotten that the man was coming back to the car for a ride.

She thought nothing of him again until she and her daughter pulled into their driveway. She saw his briefcase and realized she had forgotten him! She opened the briefcase looking for some form of identifcation so she could notify him about his belongings. Inside she found nothing but a knife and a roll of duct tape!

And the first petrol station story, sounds familiar:

As told by Emily Dunbar...

This is an old one, but it is one of my favorites. It comes back to haunt me often...

One night a woman went out for drinks with her girlfriends. She left the bar fairly late at night, got in her car and onto the deserted highway. She noticed a lone pair of headlights in her rear-view mirror, approaching at a pace just slightly quicker than hers. As the car pulled up behind her she glanced and saw the turn signal on — the car was going to pass — when suddenly it swerved back behind her, pulled up dangerously close to her tailgate and the brights flashed.

Now she was getting nervous. The lights dimmed for a moment and then the brights came back on and the car behind her surged forward. The frightened woman struggled to keep her eyes on the road and fought the urge to look at the car behind her. Finally, her exit approached but the car continued to follow, flashing the brights periodically.

Through every stoplight and turn, it followed her until she pulled into her driveway. She figured her only hope was to make a mad dash into the house and call the police. As she flew from the car, so did the driver of the car behind her — and he screamed, "Lock the door and call the police! Call 911!"

When the police arrived the horrible truth was finally revealed to the woman. The man in the car had been trying to save her. As he pulled up behind her and his headlights illuminated her car, he saw the silhouette of a man with a butcher knife rising up from the back seat to stab her, so he flashed his brights and the figure crouched back down.

The moral of the story: Check the back seat!

Did you get the engineers report?

Nah it was chaos in the reception of the workshops so I just got what i wanted from the car.

It was in the workshops with no rear sub frame, axels or any rear suspension. The front wheels were off too and looks like a track rod but I was told that the steering rack maybe stuffed too. But will be letting you all know.

Regardless of being an urban legend or not, its still a reminder to everyone to be careful.

I can't believe that people leave there doors unlocked when away from their cars. My door is even locked while I am getting petrol.

If a guy jumped into the back seat of my car then I would be amazed :P
