Can anyone help me? I have a Rav 4 XT4 (year 2003) and absolutely love my car. I have had no problems with it up until now. We've just come back from a week in Cornwall and the car alarm keeps going off every 2 - 3 hours, sometimes more frequently. No explanation for this whatsover. I took it into an approved dealer and they said they could find no fault with it but had 'reset the sensor so its not so sensitive'. Its worse now than it was before. I am taking it back to get sorted but has anyone heard of this problem before? Any tips/suggestions welcome as I am starting to lose it.

Thanks for the reply and moving the post.

By the way - the problem has been sorted by the garage. I'm no technician but they adjusted the bonnet pins. So far, so good!
