in some abandoned garages near me is a dirty, and in need of some TLC is a classic Cortina or an MG, am not sure which, would it be worth contacting the council and see who owns the garage? get hold of the owners and do the car up or summat for a bit of fun or just rob it? lol it hasn't been moved since i've been here, that i know of and it looks like a good few things need doing... is there a market for this or should i try and push it into the sea?

It has probably been placed in the garage by the owner with a view to restoring it at some later date.

If you really want to, why not trace the owner and ask if they want some help in doing it up.

Definately do not rob it and do not try pushing it in the sea.....................you could find yourself in bother with those two options

lol in all fairness, the padlock was rusted up...the rest of the garage is rubbishy and not been used in years, i've never seen most of them garages used and i used to play football there, only the carnies who own 4 or 5 lol will speak to them... lol i just wanna project to do lol

Nice find, the seats alone are worth £250 in good condition.. and alloy wheels.

You would never get insurance on a Mk2 tho!!!

lovely....I had one of these, a Cortina 2000E beautiful car......until the engine ceased... :o :o

That same colour as well and had brown vinyl roof with full length sun roof as well...great for standing on rear bench seats with head out of sun roof.. B) B) B)
