Toyota D-4d Diesels On Veggie Oils?!

Many people use veggie oil (56p per litre) to run diesl engined vehicles.

But I have heard that with some engine designs, it can lead to long term problems such as fuel pump failure, gumming up of rings, polymerisation leading to engine oil setting like jelly and so on...

Toyota D-4D engines are Direct Injection, Common Rail, Variable Nozzle Turbochrager, Intercooler, etc...

Does anyone know about using veggie oils in Toyota D-4D Diesels?

What modifications, if any, are required?

Is it safe to use a mix of diesel and veggie and diesel without mods?

If so, what ratio?

I would never use it unless the major car manufacturers gave a veggie/diesel mixture their approval

DO NOT use bio/veggie oil in ANY modern Diesel. Search bio diesel as a thread, I have made more than enough comments on the subject, lol, Kingo

DIESEL IS A LUBRICANT FOR THE PUMP SO THAT WILL FAIL IF YOU USE VEGGY OIL I WOULDNT USE ANYTHING ALONG THOSE LINES AS DIESELS RUN ON SUCH FINE TOLERANCES THESE DAYS
