Amazon Timing Belt Light

hya just wanted to ask about the timing light on dash

my father has just bought a 2000 Amazon with the timing light on .

Ive changed the belt but need to know how to extinguish the light.

my autodata book does not cover this model and i really dont fancy booking the car in for a two second job

could anyone please enlighten me

forgot to say its the 4.2 diesel engine

Not sure of exact model but will give you all options.

1/.4-Runner/Landcruiser = Take out grommet in speedo housing & press gently into hole with thin screwdriver into small hole, light should go out

2/. If Colorado = Remove dash assembly & remove screw indicated & insert in alternative location. New to forums use computer at workshop every day

but FORUMS new to me so sorry if file will not upload. From my end looks like it has worked. Picture shows position screw should be moved to.

3/. Amazon, bad news RETURN TO DEALER ONLY. Switch light off by software only, unless you no somebody with high end OBD11 system who can do it for

you.
