does anyone know how to take out the rear seats? this is just a thought not sure if im going to take them out for certain, im just wanting to lighten a little, this may not be practical but i never seem to have more than one passenger in my car.

but im just thinking of taking out the two rear seats leaving the single seat on.

Have a look around the Auris "AIM " section that's often liked to around this forum.

There's an article on how to install a "van" type conversion and that involved removing the rear seats. If my memory serves me right it gives some pretty detaild instructions and photographs on how to carry it all out.

Dead easy. theres like 4 bolts for the passenger side ones and mayb 5 for the driver side ones.. 4 in the front and 5 from the boot. I had them up but not out to run cables down for sub and amp.

can u only take one side of the seats out? i just want the driver side seats out and leave the passenger side in, but had a look at them earlier and it looks like they are bolted together? soo taking one side out you will have to take the whole thing out aswell??

the passenger side is a single seat but the drivers side one is attached to the middle seat.. like the 2/3 split. so if u want to take that side out u will loose the middle seat aswell..

what are u taking them out for anyway?
