How Much Is It Worth?

I'm looking at selling the Yaris is the next few months (cue lots of things going wrong on it now I expect  ). Just wondering how much it's worth? It's a standard (Dec 01) 51 plate, just coming up to 50k miles. I looked on Parkers, which suggested £3825 selling privately, with a part ex price of £3465. I was hoping for a bit more than this, surely it can't have dropped that much in value since I bought it for £5k in September last year. :(

I love the car, and would be keeping it if it had a 6th gear - does my head in that it doesn't have one.

Just to give you an idea for comparison, I recently part exchanged my Yaris T-sport for a Celica GT-4 and I got £4,000 for it. It was a '52 plate with 47,500 miles on it and full service history. I looked on the garage's web site and he is selling it for £4,500.

My 52 plate yaris cost me £6000. I found a few selling privately at the time for £4500, but I always prefer to spend more and buy from a dealer. This was only in August, so I'd suggest trying to sell privately at £4,200-4400!

Remember, parkers is an indication. It's down to what people are prepared to pay at the end of the day.

Does seem quite low but i suppose but coming up to 6 years old now!

Mental, isn't it!!

Looks like I might have to add a couple more thousand to my car loan for a new one then. :(

Vitzpower... I just bought your Yaris ts! I paid £4000 for it after px, which i thought was quite a good deal given the year/mileage/etc. I only went to have a look out of interest but couldn't resist.
