Sat Nav Mounting?

OK silly question time.

I have a Tom Tom XL SatNav and I need to mount it in my Yaris. Now the problem I have is if it's stuck onto the screen I can't reach it.

Does anyone know if there is an alternative mouting position? Photos would be handy.

There are various ways you could go !!! Brodit make a excellent range of alternative holders

Also goose neck holders are available with extra long arms

I've got a MKII Yaris and i put mine on my quarterlight on the drivers door which works a treat, it might not work as well with every sat nav, and it won't work with the MKI.

The Quarter light option is out of the window (literally) as I own a Mk1

I've been looking on eBay at the Discs that you stick on the dash then fit the mount onto the disc. I used it in the Camry this weekend when i went down to Brighton from Wymondham in Norfolk.

170miles and did not need the map once. Of course I did use a bit more petrol taking the Camry instead of the Yaris. Camry £68 versus £38 for the Yaris
