Been there done that, any protest in the future would be a half hearted attempt and not worth while.

Rip off Britain I’m afraid, they have us by the short and curlies

It's making people fractious at the fuel pumps as well. Misery :(

Unleaded currently 98.9p at our local Asda with Tesco just a few hundred yards down the road at £100.9!

Some 'by the road' garages I've seen today are up to 107.9p for diesel, some have even run out of digits on their electric signs and have had to write the '1' on!!

Robbing ba***rds

What I hate the most is not paying more then most of Europe, America and everywhere else in the western hemisphere, but that the scheming, robbing lying 5 knuckle-shuffling people without fathers supposedly running this country add duties and levy's against the price and then, on top of this, they have the excrement-faced cheek to add VAT on top of that!!!!

Where is the VALUE in being taxed??? VAT is value added tax.... How do you justify taxing another tax? Quite simlpy, you cannot... But still, they do!

They make the Sheriff of Nottingham seem like a generous, giving, warm hearted member of society :(

I'm so glad i have finished my waste cooking oil filter plant :) I get waste cooking oil from a few take aways in brighton and filter it down to 1 micron. And my hilux loves it, nearly as much as my wallet. I was using £60 a week before on diesel, now its !Removed! free :)

I'm thinking of converting to LPG - my 18MPG guzzler is snorting up money faster than Tony Montana in scarface.

www.pipelinecard.org

its the way forward, and i quote-

All those involved in the oil business are getting their cut from the inflated prices we're paying on the forecourts - the oil-well owners, refineries, filling stations. On top of that, the government siphons off around 60p per litre in tax.

These organisations behave as if petrol and diesel were luxury goods, and driving was a hobby. We are not 'motorists' as the media like to call us. We are teachers, nurses, workers, professional and business people, parents. We drive because we have to.

There are nearly 32 million of us in the UK. If a large number of us banded together and chose to give all our custom to one major forecourt chain, we could negotiate a substantial discount for ourselves. PIPELINE was established to achieve that and we already have over 500,000 members. It’s a great start but we have learnt to our cost that it’s not yet enough to wield significant pressure.

join now, its free!!

everyone loves a freebie!
