I ordered a brand new 3dr 1.3l SR yesterday. The dealer told me the services are every 10k miles. Does anyone know the cost of these services? I know it's a funny question but my (soon to be) old car was (is) an 8 year old Ka and I never felt it was worth having services (plus I was a very poor student until recently) so I've never had a car serviced.

Probably loking around £100 for the first 10k, £140/£150 for the 20k, £120 for the 30k.

Best thing is to actually ask your dealer.

Always best to keep it serviced at least for the first 3 years as you don't want to void the warranty but you can save money by taking it to an "Authorised Toyota Service Centre" or any garage that uses official Toyota parts...

This works out cheaper than taking it back to Toyota for servicing ;)

um... cars totally do need services... im surprised your ka lasted 8 years without being serviced at all, the oil filters plugs etc must be dire... good luck selling it...

Go to an independent mechanic instead of a toyota dealer itll be much cheaper and theyll actually do a good job lol

My local mechanic is fantastic and a full service is £60, even as a student i can live with that lol
