Blacktop Ecu In Silvertop

Hey guys, new member Just wondering can a blacktop ECU just simply replace the silvertop one? any help onb this would be much appriciated.. Also if anyone has modified the AE101 please shed your light as I have one and pretty confused as to what I can do. Thanks
