Where To Get Replacement Key ?

for x reg gls yaris, car came with just 1 original toyota key (black key) car has aftermarket alarm, rang toyota and something like £150+vat :(

anyone know somewhere in manchester that can make coded key up and do either original type key with buttons that unlocks car and disarms alarm or do the key with seperate unit to control central locking and alarm ?

I got a quote from one of these.. Ahm, key cutting, coat cleaning shoe heeling 'specialists'. A single button key fob without the built in immobiliser, to fit a Clio..

Now, bear in mind the Yaris has a 2 button one, with immobiliser circuitry. The theiving fatherless sperm donator wanted £140 just for that!

Now, £150 for a 'proper' one, from Toyota, starts to sound like a bargain! Bare in mond, if you loose the key, you WILL have to change not just the door looks, but the steering look, the boot look and also, the ECU, as the immobiliser is integral! :(

exact toyota price i thinkis £165 + vat

now ive rang few places that can make coded key no problem for about £65 + vat, all say same problem though and thats alarm problem, they cant do anything about alarm so key will oen everythingand start car but they simply cant do something that will disarm alarm and open central locking at at same time

its mums car so trying to do favour for her as too pay that much for key is a killer, looks like ill have to get rest of family to chip to pay for it
