THE STARTER MOTOR DOES NOT ALWAYS START WHEN TURNING KEY AND IN PARK. IS IT A CONTACT SOMEWARE OR A STARTER MOTOR REPLACEMENT

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Assuming the wiring is OK it sounds like the starter solenoid may be faulty, your best bet is to get the whole assembly reconditioned.

Do you have the same problem in neutral?

Could be the inhibitor switch on the shifter.
