Changing Rear Brake Light Bulbs 1996 Corolla Sportif Hatchback

Hi All

I am looking for some advice on changing the bulbs at the rear of my car the brake lights. On most models there seems to be an access panel for the back of the light allowing the bulbs to be unscrewed and replaced. However, on the Sportif Hatchback these access areas behind the lights dont seem to exist. Could anyone advice me how these can be changed.

Regards

Not on many Toyotas of that age.

In the case of your car three screws hold the cluster to the rear of the car; see manual page 185 for diagram.

I think they're all visible (once you open the tailgate), unlike those on the Celica which are hidden behind a removable section of the cluster.
