Mpg Calculator

hi guys,

just wondering on in my compressor there is an option for "mpg in miles"

just wondering wat it was.. does it calculate the mpg for you as you drive?

or am i being over estimating toyota?

this is a standard function on all corollas except for the compressor where they have removed the function (i wonder why )

It would be interesting to find how they disabled it.

I can't believe that they use a special radio head unit so something is probably unplugged somewhere

they must be disabled - the compressors are modded tsports. there is a pdf file that the dealer uses to do the conversion - cant remember where i saw it, it was a while ago but it must have been on a toyota website. or maybe the mpg calculator is ecu controlled? then the function couldnt have been added to the tte ecu - just a guess.
