2ct Engine

1 post in this topic

Hi there,I'm a new member so please bear with me! I've just purchased a '91 Townace with a siezed engine (2CT). I've been offered a good 2nd hand 2C (non turbo) motor from a carina, and want to know if I can successfully swap over turbo, injector pump, manifolds etc from my original engine to make it work ? I've been told that turbo diesel engines run lower compression pistons than non-turbo engines, is this the case with the 2C and 2CT. The piston from my turbo engine has the number 64161 cast in it. If any one could shed some light on this subject,I'd be very grateful.
