Well, I'm Still Alive!

Hello all!!

It's been a while since I've surfed the mighty TOC, but I'm officially back. Apart from the usual thing of work getting in my way of socialising with you guys, I've had pretty much the worst wisdom tooth pain ever! I've had the bugger for 12 years and finally said goodbye to it 2 weeks ago. I put it off for years, and believe me you don't want to, as apparently it gets harder to extract the longer you leave it and mine was a case of drilling the jaw bone and tooth to get it out... OUCH!

Had it out with a general anaesthetic (what else?) and after days of banana smoothies, ibuprofen and looking like I'd been hit by a rugby ball ( I won't mention the thrashing England got by us last Saturday :P ), I finally started to talk again. Now, after 2 weeks, I can open my mouth wider than an inch and finally resume my Wii fitness (that is VERY important, especially the mouth opening bit according to Hubby ;) !!).

All I can say is, glad I only have 2 left (only had 3 to start with) they seem to like their environment.

As if spending £300 to have ONE tooth out isn't bad enough, I'm taking my car to Mr T tomorrow and paying them £80 for an oil and oil filter change and a stamp in a book. It's a good job February is a short month and not long to wait for pay day.

Anyway, it's half term next week and a good weekend of rugby, so things are looking up!

Ha one of my teeth out in January, not sure what hurt most.........Extracting the tooth or extracting the £200 from my account to pay for it
