looks in good nick mate...

I would... change the interior and get different seats in there... brown isn't my fav colour. My mum used to make me wear brown jumpers when I was 4.... Argh !! The memories !

Looking back up at the interior piccy I think that it's about time you treated yourself to some ICE :D

The car looks immaculate

Have you had the bodywork redone? or could it be the car was wax oiled from new and garaged and never had a mark on it. (Would'nt we all like to come across that when buying an old Corolla  )

I would keep the car in its original condition and not change anything.

Wow, thanks for all the replies - im chuffed now

In answer to some of the questions, it has had some bodywork done, but nothing really major. i had the windscreen taken out, and the surround repaired, as it was just beginning to bubble, and had the sunroof panel done, so they resprayed the whole roof. i also had the front bumper, side skirts, roof spoiler and arch extensions resprayed, as the paint had gone really thin. i have reciepts from 5 years ago when it had 2 brand new front wings, and the tailgate and rear bumper resprayed. it was zeibarted when it was brand new, and maintained by the book in every way by the one prev owner (who was 81!!). its never been welded underneath. its done 93k, and has a near full toyota service hist from the dealer that supplied it (Fulton Motors in London) - about 3 stamps are with jap specialists. ive got 2 folders crammed with bills of every description, (including the original bill of sale) and MOTs from 1990.

i fully agree with you on the ICE yannick! :D there are still some things i want to sort - it has some bad parking dents on the passenger side, the driver's door window is really badly scratched from years of use and the rear bumper has a couple of knocks in it. also, the rear passenger side light lens is cracked. the last owner was a bit over-zealous with the touch up paint in places as well. the only mods im doing are a set of wheels (but im keeping the originals as well - they really need a refurb, though), and hopefully (eventually) some better quality ICE. oh, and its due for a service, and some new rear brake discs, and some new Wiper Blades (and the windscreen wipers want spraying black).

so, i should still be kept busy! :P
