Just had a phonecall telling me I qualify for a ticket for the Everton away game against Fiorentina. I went to Nuremberg with a ticket which was great & then went to Alkmaar but couldn't get a ticket, I went to the ground hoping to buy 1 outside but had no joy & had to jump in a cab to Amsterdam to watch it on the telly like most other people despite having took time off work, to fly across Europe, spending a load of time & money getting there. Being so close to being able to watch it live only to have to walk away was 1 of the most depressing things I've ever had to do & I really hope I never have to do it again. I then went to Bergen & got a didn't qualify for a ticket but got 1 off a mate of a mate before I'd even left the country.

With this trip I knew I wasn't guaranteed a ticket (as I hadn't officially gone to 2 or more European aways) & I was worried I was going to have to have a similar experience as Alkmaar/Amsterdam in a lot more hostile environment but now I've just had a phonecall telling me I do qualify so I'm absolutely over the moon at the minute. It's been a crap morning in work & so I'd been in a bad mood but now I feel brilliant & want to tell everyone. Apologies for the pointlessness of this thread but what better place than TOC to share my joy?

Easier said than done, especially when I've already not qualified twice before. My mate (who's been to all of the aways in this country that I have) still hasn't heard anything so it goes to show how easy it would have been to miss out, I'm just made up that for once I've got what I deserved
