Over here they are a Kit Car - In Italy they are judged as Forgeries or Bootleg products .................. brilliant - Way to overreact !!

I remember years ago someone over here made a fake Rolls Royce and was taken to court by RR for using their Logo, The front Radiator Trim and the Spirit of Ecstacy ornament. These 3 things were what defines Rollers from other cars ( they claimed ), won the court case and the guy had to remove/remodel his creation or face jail !

The only Kit car that RR would allow to use the front grille and Logo's was the original FAB1 in the Thunderbirds series - They may have lightened up a bit by now, or they may not.

If our premium marque defends itself and it's identity to this extent then it's probably only to be expected that Ferrari would do the same.........Can't imagine British Leyland complaining about someone making replicas - unless they were complaining that the build quality was far superior to the originals ! :P
