Rubber Strip Under Bonet

Hi all

I just wondered if any one else has noticed that just under the bonet top of bumper on the right as you look at it there is a black rubber strip (Aygo only) but on hte left near the engine air intake there is no rubber strip but there is holes pre driled for one . Dealer says normal ! Any one know why ?

Yes it ended up in the wrong place first time so I did it again But I have my answer now ta :D
