Toyota Sat Nav - Interchangeable Between Models?

I have a 3.0 D-4D 2005 Vigo which came without sat nav. How & where can I get the built in unit from I beleive there is the head unit (with the screen) and another unit?

Can units from other models be fitted? ie: land cruiser/rav 4 etc?

Hi mate and welcome to TOC, I believe you can swap but better to post photo of your current set up to check.

This has I believe came up before, try a search on the workshop forum. You may find its not worth it financially

though, maybe better with a decent portable unit.

I have the 'turn by turn' Toyota system and with experience of this unit I would advise that you go and buy a cheap Tom Tom or similar
