Can't say I did, mainly because I didn't know about it but if I did I can't see how me turning off a few lights for an hour is going to save the world for future generations (which I'm assuming is the aim)

Even if we all did it, the global effect would be negligable anyway with huge pollutants like China and America pumping all their crap into the air.

Its mainly about raising awareness and trying to inform people that they can have an effect, and comulatively all our eforts together mount up. If everyone said they can make a difference and nobody tried that would add up too

It would raise more awareness if they actually told more people about it though. I would never have known anything about it if it weren't for this thread !

Nope we had load sof lights on and all the garden lights as we had two seperate parties going on :)
