Bike Rack

Hi

Has anyone used/own a Thule high mount bike rack?

I am looking a buying one (Thule ClipOn High) www.thule.com/Thule/ProductPage____45896.aspx for my Corolla.

Are they any good?

Never used that particular one, but Thule gear is really second to none. Top quality .

I have a Thule tow bar mounted cycle carrier, its ok, but you have to have the pincer seriously tight on the tow bar or it kind of swivels. You know when its tight enough as you hurt your hand, fingers or writs getting it on and off. But I have used other cycles carriers and as said above the Thule seems good, so I would have confidence in their stuff.

There is no way I would be putting a carrier on my car, so I use the wifes with pads to protect her paint from the pedals and stuff but always manage to mark her car from time to time. These high carriers are supposed to stop that. The best option is to have the roof mounted job but its very expensive
