I Can at last contribute to this because i have managed to drive nicely for long enough, I have averaged 47 mpg over a full tank in my tsport

I average about 34mpg but its difficult to tell using it for driving tuition spending a load of time going backwards and and niot making much progress,

I did go to Wembly twice for the FA cup from Cardiff and averaged about 45 i think... but that was 70 all the way there and back.
