Corolla Compressor ?

Hi We have been looking at the Toyota Comp for months now and we may finally be able to get one but i just wanted to get an owners point of view. We test drove one but Folkestone Toyota told us we could only have a 5 minute drive so we couldnt really get a proper idea but were impressed with what we did see. Can anyone give me there honest opinion? Slightly worried about the fact there are so many with such low mileage e.g. 06 plate with 5000 miles on the clock.

The reason you see so many with low miles is the fact they were so expensive in the first place. Nobody bought them.

When they did, They couldn't afford to keep them running.I don't own a Compressor myself (Doh!) so can't give you anything other than that really. :P

Although the T-Sport is awesomeness in a can.

there was a boy locally who bought one to try and out do his mate with a type-R civic EP3 shape which had been modified, the civic was faster so he was heart broken and finally traded it in when he done the maths of how much the car was costing him

Its something unique, you will certainly know no one will have one and also they are great cars just like the t sport verry similar and slightly faster maybe. As with all cars if you buy one modify it a bit everyone does and youll love it, to be honest in everyday there are not that many cars which are going to giev you a hard time. if you have 215bhp under your bonnet on a hatch you know thats something quick, plus you got this gorgeous whine coming from it. I would recommend to book another test drive, they are high maintenance and costs but with all cars they are not cheap, But if you love the model and if you really like the car go for it. Itll make you smile when you brag you got a factory fit charger in it and when you hear that whine.

Youll also have a car which wont make noise on low revs which is great depends what you like though you know the powers there up to you to use it i think there gorgeous cars but for themoney there is a lot out there at the moment.

Very tasty!!! Yeah, there are always quicker cars, but it does drive and sound wonderful! Dont be put off by the mileage, it just means your getting a bargain, especially if Toyota dealership are selling it! You dont know the previous owners circumstances. Someones already lost a lot on the initial depreciation and you've got a cheap practically new car. At the end of the day, you wont get a better Corolla than a compressor, and they are as rare as rocking horse s**t!

so whats the chances of an aftermarket kit?

i'm picking up a high milage T-sport today, totally standard and well maintaned however i dont expect the engine to last forever and when the time comes it'll hopefully be getting charged with a big pulley kit after a forged re-build, or at least thats the wifes plans. i'm hoping to make a start on charging sooner ;)

If you know your stuff you can rebuild that engine it must have much more potential a naturally aspirated 190bhp 1.8 engine can chuck alot more power out i can almost guarentee that!

i've got one, amazing car!!! i put down deposit down next day after test drive knew i wanted it straight after driving it. yes the running cost's are high put wot high performance car isn't to be fair. when you get induction kit on the whine from supercharger is a great sound. also it's comfy aswell for the type of car it is. the best thing is how rare they are tho not many people know wot they are an you really surpise them with it

T-Sport cool when the VVTL-I kicks in and you get more engine power. I love it when you can hear the difference in engine noise. Sounds mad!!!
