I Need To Feel Some More Love For My Aygo

I just don't feel like I love her as much as I should at the mo.... Maybe we need to go to RELATE or something.

Just been mooching around the old cars forum, (Smart Roadster), and now I feel all sad and depressed that I sold the Roadie. I have some stripes to put on the Aygo, (white on the blue), but the weathers just not been good enough. Maybe when I do that I will feel better.

Give me some things to love about my Aygo - apart from mpg (Got similar out of the Roadie).

Please help !!!!

It’s not the members; problem is if anything is posted to near the knuckle then it’s either locked or deleted.

We can’t even have a playground scrap without ‘teacher’ stepping in. As in most lively discussions they tend to fizzle out or get resolved but unfortunately we can’t get that far.

We keep getting told it’s a ‘family forum’ which is fine if you are The Walton’s

How about;

-passive rear wheel steering (angled rear trailing arm bushings prevents lift-off oversteer)

-Inverted v bar trailing arm doubles as a rear anti-roll bar

-Multileaf oil dampers

-VVTI

-Lightest commercially produced 4 seater car engine in the world (approx 1bhp per kilo)

-High thermal efficiency of the engine

-Torsion bar engine mount limits engine vibration transmitted to the cabin

-Galvanised high tensile steel frame (relatively light weight and very rigid)

-variable strength electric power steering (with auto shut-off when Battery current is low)

-collapsable steering coloumn (limits any chest injuries in an accident)

-Latest Bosch active (instead of passive) ABS, which detects locked wheels more rapidly

-Lightweight rear seats (15kg total)

-Ventilated front disc brakes

-seat belt pretensioners

-bolted (not welded) crumple zones make accident repairs cheaper, as do the removable bumper corner protectors

-headlamps mounted on beakaway brackets to minimise accident damage

-Side impact bars in front driver and passenger doors

-Fly-by-wire accelarator pedal (no mechanical connection, only electrical to the ECU)

Hope that helps :)

It was just a general comment, obviously didn't mean EVERYONE. But realistically sometimes I don't bother posting things up on here because I know that someone is going to have a pop at why I shouldn't do it or that its against the law to travel 3 mph over the speed limit and I should be put in prison for it.

Slap a supercharger on it and you'll be happy everytime you press the accelerator pedal :D
