Finally!

Yes! Finally took delivery on the 21st July of my brand new red 1.4 d4d Yaris SR after ONLY 8 weeks. The dealer told me eventually there was a problem with a new ordering system. Believe what you like!

Anyway the new car is brilliant. I was expecting the diesel to be noisy, but it isn't that bad. It's more responsive that my 1.5 dci Micra and miles better when it comes to comfort! Somebody quoted on this site that the build quality isn't that good, well I haven't found a problem with it. The gearbox is smooth and silky. I let my friend have a drive and that was the first thing she noticed about the car!

Also, I haven't had a problem yet with the sat-nav. Everything works fine. I plug a 1 gig memory stick in with 20 cds on and just leave it there. Switch it on and it takes about 15 seconds to upload the lot! My wife and I both have ours phones on the bluetooth and they work fine. In fact we were really impressed with how the bluetooth works. The satnav is really easy to use and I've just paid £34 and downloaded the speed camera sites from TomTom Home on the internet. When I picked the car up I said to the dealer that I expected to have to bring the car back because I had heard there was a problem with the sd card. He said that they had overcome that by firstly charging the unit for 3 hours before putting in the car!

I was meant to take delivery of my D-4D TR, tomorrow... But garage still don't have it and have no idea of when it will be in, so here's hoping it's soon.

I waited nearly two months, but I can assure you that it was worth the wait and also when you get it watch that right foot because I've noticed it gains speed rapidly!
