ive read that there is a head gasket issue with this model, and was wondering if using distilled water with the anti freeze is best practise, how expensive is toyota anti freeze, and when is it renewed

I don't think its fair to say that theres a head gasket issue with this engine... its the same as any other car... let it overheat and the headgasket is likely to blow.
