Hi try recaro young sport, expert, and style seats. I could not get ANY car seat to fit my mk3. Tried over 20 brands. Halfords, mothercare and TOYOTA could not offer no help.
my garage moved the rear base seat belt anchor point to the centre of the seat but slightlly higher up between the seats. good secure point there. the lower buckle is then to the side of most car seats not under as is the case normally. been checked and passed as totally secure and safe. passes mot with no problem at all regards belt movement. cost to relocate belt, only £50.
I had recaro young sport too start, upgraded now to recaro expert as lad is now 2yrs, and recently bought recaro style which goes upto ages when seat is not required.
Problem you will have is space, as he/she grows, head is very close to ceiling and legs will touch back of pass seat by age of two.
Hope its some help.

Britax produces a wide range of car safety seats, has been in the industry for over 30 years. The rear facing baby car safety seat has a 5 point harness, is suitable for babies from 4 to 22 pounds and has a height limit of 30”. If you are looking for your baby’s first car safety seat and want rear facing then the Britax Companion offers you everything you need.

The Britax car seats come in a variety of models. You need to choose one which meets your requirements. The Britax seats are more reliable and safe to use. They are provided with seat straps which keeps the baby safe from not moving. The seat straps should be buckled tightly so that the child will be safe.

Its always good to have the car seat installed in the back seat of your car in rear facing position. The rear facing helps the kids from not getting injured at the time of accidents. The kids seat should be rear faced till the kid is 4 years old. If the kid is more than 5 years then you can use the front facing.

There are many brands of car seats available for the safety of the children. YOu need to choose the one that fits your car needs and provide safety to the kids. The Britax car seats are costlier than all other brands of car seats and are considered the best in the industry. These can support a weight of up to 40 pounds.

The Convertible car seats are safe for the children and can be used for children above 20 pounds. The Convertible car seats are different from infant car seats. The infant car seats can be installed only in rear facing position where as the convertible car seats can be installed in both rear and front facing direction. These can be used for children till they outgrow and provide utmost safety during the travel.

The purpose of a car seat is to keep your precious child safe in an accident which may otherwise be deadly. So you need to make sure which car seat is suitable and fits the needs of your car. Check with the user manual before installing and make sure whether the car seat is installed properly. Rear facing car seats are better for children under 5 years. If your child is outgrown and is more than 5 years then you can go for front facing.
