I have A 1994 Toyota pickup its a T100 i believe and it will start up, but it will idle for a second or two and die or just die right out. I have checked all wire that are visible and made sure all vaccum hoses i can see are good and the throttle sensor in good a friend who is a toyota machanic checked it out. fuel pump is new and was not put in too long ago so that should be fine my alternator is working as well im not sure what to do i did the self diagnoses and the check engine light says nothing is wrong im runnig out of things to try and dont want to bring it to the shop cause i know ill get charged way too much for something dumb. if anyone has any thoughts just send me an email or if you have aim send me a message my screen name is SIC135 and email is SIC130@yahoo.com.

is there fuel in the tank are the fuel tank vents clear are all the fuel system electrical connections tight and clean

let's start to investigate --- you did not mention -- petrol or diesel?

Open the fuel cap and see if it still happens, did you change the fuel filter at all?

Sounds like fuel starvation
